Versión 0.9.2 de Joost, lanzada por error en certificado de seguridad
Así lo expresa Dirk-Willem de Joost, a los usuarios que sorpresivamente no podían tener acceso a Joost desde ayer miércoles.
Joost trabaja con tecnología SSL, sin embargo, en la versión 0.9.1 olvidaron incorporar la renovación del certificado. El certificado expiró ayer y crash, Joost no podía funcionar.
Our apologies for this - but this is all part of being a beta.
As you may know - we use SSL technology to protect your privacy. Once
every other year or so these certificates need to be renewed. That
moment came, for the first time in our existence, yesterday.
Unfortunately we did not realize that we had a copy hardwired into the
0.9.1 client by accident.
Hence this new 0.9.2 build.
La versión 0.9.2 ya está disponible para descarga, tanto para Mac como Windows. De momento requiere invitación.
